Resumo: Estudantes com necessidades educacionais especiais (NEE), por muito tempo foram excluídos de qualquer participação na educação e ainda hoje precisam de ações para ter seus direitos garantidos. No Ensino Superior existe um ingresso gradual e contínuo destes estudantes. Desta forma, esta pesquisa buscou averiguar, a partir de análise documental, quais são as ações adotadas pela Universidade Federal de Lavras (UFLA) para garantir a inclusão, permanência e participação de estudantes com NEE. A partir desse estudo acredita-se que será possível aumentar a conscientização da importância da inclusão dos estudantes NEE no Ensino Superior, contribuindo para a promoção das questões relativas à essa temática, além de auxiliar à formação de um panorama da diversidade na Educação Superior brasileira. Pode-se concluir que a UFLA possui uma estrutura física e organizacional preparada para receber e acolher esse público, embora ainda haja alguns obstáculos como a falta de verbas, falta de interesse do corpo docente à formação

Abstract: Students with special educational needs (SEN) have for a long time been excluded from any participation in education and still today need actions to have their rights guaranteed. In Higher Education there is a gradual and continuous entry of these students. Thus, this research sought to ascertain, based on documentary analysis, what are the actions taken by the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA) to guarantee the inclusion, permanence and participation of students with SEN. From this study, it is believed that it will be possible to raise awareness of the importance of including SEN students in Higher Education, contributing to the promotion of issues related to this theme, in addition to helping to form a panorama of diversity in Brazilian Higher Education. It can be concluded that UFLA has a physical and organizational structure prepared to receive and welcome this audience, although there are still some obstacles, such as the lack of funds, the lack of interest of the teaching staff in specific and continu
