Resumo: A presença de alunos surdos inseridos na escola regular, nos faz questionar sobre os recursos pedagógicos, como os livros didáticos, são utilizados pelos professores para o ensino de ciências para estudantes surdos. Neste sentido, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a unidade didática do livro Didático do Manual do Professor, Companhia das Ciências do oitavo ano do fundamental II, de JOÃO USBERCO et.al, 2018. Já os objetivos específicos são (i) analisar a unidade didática ????Vida e Evolução???? do livro didático (ii) discutir possíveis metodologias para ensino do conteúdo analisado, para alunos surdos (iii) propor algumas adaptações e propostas pedagógicas que atendam às especificidades para o ensino de alunos surdos. A metodologia da pesquisa é qualitativa, com foco na análise conteúdo para averiguar por meio de critérios, tais como (i) textos dispostos em Língua Portuguesa, facilitando a compreensão do aluno surdo, já que a língua portuguesa é considerada a sua segunda língua (ii) imagens, gráfi

Abstract: The presence of deaf students in the regular school makes us to question how pedagogical resources, such as textbooks, which are used by teachers to teach science to deaf students. In this sense, the present work aims to analyze the didactic unit of the Didactic book of the Teachers Manual, Companhia das Ciências of the eighth year of elementary II, by JOÃO USBERCO et.al, 2018. The specific objectives are (i) to analyze the didactic unit ????Life and Evolution???? of the textbook (ii) discuss possible methodologies for teaching the analyzed content, for deaf students (iii) propose some adaptations and pedagogical proposals that meet the specificities for teaching deaf students. The research methodology is qualitative, with a focus on content analysis to ascertain through criteria, such as (i) texts arranged in Portuguese, facilitating the understanding of the deaf student, since the Portuguese language is considered their second language (ii) images, graphics and other pictures help to understand the subject studied by the deaf (iii) exercises that can be solved by deaf students without major complications (iv) the proposal of additional activities of the themes for a complementary learning to the deaf student. Thus, based on the criteria, analyzing whether the content proposed in the analyzed textbook helps in understanding the topic studied by the deaf. With this, the work, proposes an understanding and reflection of the teachers and the schools, about the need of the deaf student regarding their specificities in the teaching process that should be considered in the classroom. In addition, this work proposes reflections on more inclusive learning for deaf students, with the help of didactic material that facilitates the understanding of concepts in their studies, and the teacher can to propose alternative methodologies that facilitate this understanding of the deaf, and thus make their education, more significant.
