Resumo: O objetivo desse trabalho é analisar a relação entre a alteridade e o mito do eterno feminino como constituintes da limitação da liberdade da mulher na obra de Simone de Beauvoir publicada em 1949. A filósofa argumenta que a alteridade absoluta é constituída pela figura do homem, a partir da hostilidade entre o Eu (homem) sujeito e o Outro (mulher) como objeto, sendo a transcendência alojada no polo da subjetividade. O mito do eterno feminino é a naturalização da situação de hierarquização e opressão vivenciada pela mulher ao longo da história. Acompanharemos Beauvoir tanto em sua investigação sobre a situação social e cultural que subjuga a mulher, aproximando-a da imanência e da facticidade, quanto em sua análise acerca dos caminhos possíveis para a emancipação feminina. Abstract: This work aims to analyze the relationship between otherness and the myth of the eternal feminine as constituents of the limitation of womens freedom, as situated in the work of Simone de Beauvoir published in 1949. In this way, absolute alterity is constituted by the figure of the man, based on the hostility between the I (man) subject and the Other (woman) as object, the which transcendence is made possible through subjectivity. The myth of the eternal feminine is the naturalization of the situation of hierarchy and oppression experienced by women throughout their lives history by patriarchy. The situation delimited by the society and culture that subjugate the woman immanence and facticity. Analysis of possible paths for female emancipation.
