Resumo: O curso de Bacharelado em Medicina Veterinária da Universidade Federal de Lavras (UFLA) possui uma disciplina PRG 107 em seu décimo módulo, referente ao estágio curricular obrigatório. É nesta fase que o aluno coloca em prática os conhecimentos adquiridos durante a graduação e tem a oportunidade de acompanhar diferentes profissionais em meio externo a universidade. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo descrever como atividades desenvolvidas e relacionadas a casuística acompanhada durante o período obrigatório. Foram realizados um total de 496 horas de estágio em dois estabelecimentos distintos. No Setor de Clínica Médica de Pequenos Animais do Hospital Veterinário da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (HV-UFMG) as atividades foram realizadas durante o período de 03022020 a 31032020, totalizando 280 horas. Nesse estabelecimento as atividades foram orientadas pela Profª. Dra. Ruthnéa Aparecida Lázaro Muzzi e supervisadas pelo Profº. Dr. Rubens Antônio Carneiro. Na Clínica Veterinária Vet e Pet, o estágio foi realizado de 28052020 a 07082020, totalizando 216 horas, sob a supervisão da Médica Veterinária Paula Tavares Xavier e orientação da Profª Dra Ruthnea Aparecida Lázaro Muzzi. Durante os estágios, o aluno pode acompanhar e auxiliar o atendimento clínico e ambulatorial, coleta de exames laboratoriais, atendimento a pacientes internados, acompanhamento de exames radiográficos, ultrassonográficos e ecocardiográficos. As experiências de estágio contribuíram enormemente para o crescimento profissional e para a conclusão do curso.
Abstract: The Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine course at the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA) has a PRG 107 discipline in its tenth module, referring to the mandatory curricular internship. It is at this stage that the student puts into practice the knowledge acquired during graduation and has the opportunity to accompany different professionals outside the university. The present work aims to describe how activities developed and related to the series followed during the mandatory period. A total of 496 hours of internship were carried out in two different establishments. In the Small Animal Medical Clinic Sector of the Veterinary Hospital of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (HV-UFMG) the activities carried out during the period from 02032020 to 03312020, totaling 280 hours. In this establishment, the activities were guided by Profª. Dr. Ruthnéa Aparecida Lázaro Muzzi and supervised by Profº. Dr. Rubens Antônio Carneiro. At Clínica Veterinária Vet e Pet, the internship took place from 05282020 to 07082020, totaling 216 hours, under the supervision of Veterinary Doctor Paula Tavares Xavier and under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ruthnea Aparecida Lázaro Muzzi. During the internships, the student can monitor and assist clinical and outpatient care, collection of laboratory tests, care for inpatients, monitoring of radiographic, ultrasound and echocardiographic tests. The internship experiences contributed enormously to the professional growth and to the conclusion of the course.
