Resumo: Este artigo investiga a participação e percepções dos pais na trajetória escolar dos seus filhos, destacando a questão do quão importante é suas próprias percepções sobre o mundo social, suas formas de julgar a realidade, seus gostos e valores na formação dos seus filhos. Seja reproduzindo, seja rompendo, seja estabelecendo uma continuidade mediadora entre a herança recebida dos pais e as novas realidades culturais, procuramos respondercompreender quais os aspectos, e seus fundamentos, que influenciam os filhos em seus julgamentos diante de novos contextos do mundo social, principalmente diante do mundo escolar. Portanto, também objetivamos analisar a relação sucesso escolar dos filhos versus origem social e educacional dos pais, apresentando e discutindo algumas considerações teóricas a partir da reflexão sobre o quanto o grau de ensino e a participação dos pais interfere no sucesso escolar e profissional dos filhos. A investigação prática visando respondercompreender a importância dos níveis escolares dos pais em relação às trajetórias social e escolar dos filhos foi realizada através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre a primeira parte da obra A Distinção, de Pierre Bourdieu crítica social do julgamento do gosto, analisada sob à luz das interpretações de Maria Alice Nogueira e Cláudio M. Martins Nogueira, dois dos maiores intérpretes de Bourdieu no Brasil, na obra Bourdieu a Educação e no artigo Os Herdeiros Fundamentos para uma Sociologia do Ensino Superior. Portanto, uma pesquisa qualitativa em educação a partir da análise de conteúdo de estudos que esmiúçam a importância da formação cultural dos pais nas escolhas, gostos e sucessos dos filhos na escola e na vida.

Abstract: This article investigates the participation and perceptions of parents in the school trajectory of their children, highlighting the issue of how important their own perceptions of the world are social, their ways of judging reality, their tastes and values ????in the education of their children. Be reproducing, whether breaking or establishing a mediating continuity between the inheritance received from parents and the new cultural realities, we try to respondunderstand what the aspects, and its fundamentals, that influence the children in their judgments in face of new contexts of the social world, especially in relation to the school world. So, too We aim to analyze the relationship of childrens school success versus social and educational background. parents, presenting and discussing some theoretical considerations based on the reflection on the how much the level of education and the participation of parents interfere in the school and professional success of the sons. The practical investigation aiming to answerunderstand the importance of the levels parents schooling in relation to their childrens social and educational trajectories was carried out through a bibliographical research on the first part of the work A Distinção, by Pierre Bourdieu social criticism of the judgment of taste, analyzed in the light of Maria Alices interpretations Nogueira and Cláudio M. Martins Nogueira, two of the greatest Bourdieu interpreters in Brazil, in the work Bourdieu a Educação and in the article Os Hedeiros Fundamentals for a Sociology of Higher Education. Therefore, a qualitative research in education based on the analysis of content of studies that scrutinize the importance of parents cultural background in choices, childrens tastes and successes in school and in life.
